A rat zapper offers a humane way of killing trapped rats with the use of electric shock. These are perfect for rats, mice and other small underground rodents.  Once the rats entered the trap, a fatal electric shock will be introduced which kills them almost instantly. This means that you do not have to wound, cripple or starve them to death. In addition, they do not pose risk to your children or house pets unlike other types of rat traps.

Ultra And Classic Rat Zappers

You can choose from the ultra or rat zapper classic. Both types offer the same benefits and also share similar features. They both kill rats and mice of all sizes with the use of an electronic shock. Both units also feature a red signal light which signifies a catch. A handy remote monitoring device can be availed if you need to place the device on hard-to-check locations. The classic and ultra  zappers present a more humane way of killing rats than traditional snap traps or glue boards. In addition, no dangerous poisons are used thus maintaining a safe environment. Lastly, they are both great for both home and commercial applications.

How Do Electric Mouse Zappers Work?

These use  two AA batteries that is wired to a pressure-sensitive plate which produces electrical shock to anything that comes in contact with it. Initially, the trapped rat will received a preliminary shock that will knock it unconscious and then it comes in full contact with the plate where it receives more fatal shock causing its death. When the trap has been activated, a red signal light will notify you that it has been occupied. To eliminate the dead rat, simply tip over the container onto the trash to slide out the dead rat.

Whether you own a victor rat zapper or other brands, it is highly advised to clean it after repetitive use. Be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding the proper way of cleaning trap. These are efficient traps that will absolutely offer you a rat-free home!
